I moved to Austin when I was 3 months old and have had a passion  for art for as long as I have held consciousness. I discovered gouache by chance in 2024 and, after setting it aside for a year, decided I couldn't live without it. The matte finish, variable opacity and vibrant colors gouache offers continue to hypnotize me - I hope the feeling is mutual! I use Winsor & Newton's Designer Gouache for all of my pieces for high quality and lightfastness. I also seal all completed paintings with Dorland's Wax to seal and protect my work for years to come.

 At the time of writing, I have recently committed to pursuing a career in the fine arts and am completely self-taught, through I hope to pursue a robust atelier program in the future. I plan to offer fine art prints and original paintings for sale in Austin (and online) once my portfolio becomes more well-rounded. 

 

I am a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and continue to live happily in Austin with my wife, Jessica, and our pampered pets Ginger, Cannoli and Peaches.
